Editorial method, 7 November 2026: our recommendations prioritize a usable unlock route first, followed by the utility described in the public move lists. They are build recommendations by the kinglegacy.app editors, rather than measured damage rankings. A starter option and a Third Sea option answer different progression needs, so they occupy different rows instead of competing on one universal damage score.
For early progression, keep Combat while saving for a trainer and compare Dark Leg with Cyborg when their islands become available. Dark Leg has the lower listed entry price; Cyborg provides a longer progression path. The wiki prices in the catalog refer to their base versions, so do not read a V1 purchase price as the total cost of a V3 build.
For Third Sea mobility, compare Trickster with Striker. Trickster has its Trickshard requirement, while Striker combines a boss sequence, a fruit submission and fish collection. Gale Fist has a separate island and quest route. The cheapest purchase is not automatically the quickest unlock when the material and encounter requirements differ.
Update 11 adds V3 paths for Dark Leg, Electro, Cyborg and Dragon Claw. Pro Game Guides and Bloxodes independently publish those paths. The October community evaluation guide discusses stun, burst and mobility but gives no letter ranking; its date predates those upgrades. Use it for evaluation criteria, then follow the relevant current version guide before committing materials.

Questions
What is the best fighting style in King Legacy?
I do not have two sources that name a winner. Use the price and the quest, then decide.
How many fighting styles are there?
Ten base styles. V2 variants are upgrades, not extra styles.
